Whitehouse ISD has called for a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) on November 4, 2025. As required by state law, the official tax rate for the year cannot be finalized until after the election results are certified.
This means that any 2025 property tax statement that includes Whitehouse ISD will be mailed after the election. The Smith County Tax Office is committed to a transparent process and wants to ensure you have the most accurate information on your tax statement.
